Hiring 4 Independent Radio Hosts (Remote)

RadioVoice-NJ is looking for a host for our new daily news slot. This independent host will need to be an excellent storyteller and an engaging speaker, letting listeners know about the most interesting developments in Trenton, Camden, Newark or Atlantic City each day. The host will help shape the their show through their editorial input and personality. The host will narrate scripts and participate in the production process, preparing for interviews, and writing and editing their scripts. They must reflect the unique sensibility of New Jersey with an engaging, casual, and intimate on-air presence that attracts and retains listeners by revealing their personality, background, curiosity, and sense of humor. The host also will not represent RadioVoice-NJ but will work as an independent entity, which will allow the host to voice their own options as long as they are not spreading hatred or fake information.

The ideal host is a proven, creative storyteller with an engaging style, a clear narrative voice, and is a highly motivated self-starter and idea generator. They are responsible for proposing, developing, researching, and writing episode scripts, and identifying, pitching, and interviewing guests.

Radio host will work from home. Host will be paid based on the advertisements that they obtain and air while they host their radio show. Each radio host will act as an independent guest with no association with RadioVoice-NJ. All money obtained for advertising shouldn’t include any reference to RadioVoice-NJ.
